Ashampoo Burning Studio 2008 supports 3 different image file types:

CUE/BIN

This is one of the most widely used formats. Two files are created: one small file with the extension .cue that contains a description of the CD structure and one big file with the extension .bin that contains the actual data. Every type of CD can be stored in the CUE/BIN.

ISO

This kind of image file is more limited, as it can only be used for simple data CDs (i.e. CDs containing only normal files and folders).

ASHDISC

This is Ashampoo's own image file format. Like CUE/BIN, it can be used to store all kinds of CD, but it has the advantage that only a single file is created, instead of two.
